Looking at a pair of Champions, $499 Costco Canadian dollars. Can not beat the price per watt and they parallel with enough power to run 15K AC. the Lifan looks like a nice unit but service here would be a problem.

I live in the same space as my basement of the 5th Wheel. The small propane cylinders live with the 30 lb outside living space. The generators will live in thee back of the truck locked and under cover. Something about gas/propane in living space I do not like.

I understand someone with a permanently mounted natural gas generator at home. But a portable propane powered generator for RV uses?

I wonder how much propane a 4000 watt generator would use? Cost per hour to run?

Just my opinion, but not for this old guy. I can even throw one of my 2000's on the atv and use it for small jobs here on The Ridge. 46 Lbs much easier to handle. just sayin

The Honda 2000 and the Honda 2000 Companion are perfect together for 4000 watts peak total and quiet as a church mouse.
AND yes it will run a 15,500

I'm with ya. I have two 2000's and am glad to have them. I did want the heavy 3000 mainly because of the more quite exhaust but did not want to deal with the weight, plus I get another 1000 watts. Add an extended fuel tank tied to both gennie's and you have a great setup.
