Crap! I just purchased a 100W 'starter' RV kit (w/ 'suitcase' panel) from Renogy about a month ago.

Oh, well...at least the future addn'l panels I was planning on getting will be cheaper...

We can get a Tax break for 2018. I just installed six 100 watt Renogy panels with room for more.

Most rv's will qualify as a second home. As such, it will qualify for remaining credits. Your taxes may vary.

Under the new tax guidelines that are in effect for 2018, RV's no longer qualify as second homes. You can not deduct the interest as a second mortgage. You may be able to qualify it if it is used for business purposes, but you have to have a valid business license. There is a lot more about RV's, but you will have to read the new tax codes.

Villagerjim, I had initially heard that a MOTORHOME would qualify but, a TRAILER would not. Do you know if that has changed?
