Info req. on elect appliances

having debate with others on what can a class c with the usual 30 amp power handle? my friend was running his dometic 13500 a/c unit and a few inside lights, and the dometic refer on elect. when he turned on the elect 6 gal. suburban water heater too it blew the circuit at the pedestal. would all these exceed the 30 amp limits? what do each of these draw on average? thanks

I have a hard-wired surge protector with a remote display which shows amps. The A/C draws 12A, the WH draws 11A. Run the fridge on electric and enough lights that the converter is cycling, you'll trip the main 30A breaker.
