Interior led bulbs

2013 Columbus 320 5ver. 3 led bulbs already burnt out. The have two wire prong inserts, and the bulb is flat like a computer chip. Called my dealer and he said he could get them from Forest Lake for $24 a piece plus $14 shipping. Anybody know an internet site that carries them ?

They should be a G4 base LED. Amazon has them as well as Ebay and any of the other LED lighting places. Just look for G4 or prong base LED replacement lamps

Be aware of the color if you're putting them in the same room with existing lamps. Either that or change all the lamps in the room.

Thanks for steering me in right direction.
The bulb I pulled out doesn't show wattage. I can pick from 1.6 up to ??.
The ones that still work are really bright, not necessarily are good thing. So what would be the norm? If I want a sun burn I can go out side , right?

Each person has their own favorite color and brightness. I personally like the bright white lamps in the 5,000 to 6,000 Kelvin range, but a lot of people like the more traditional incandescent color range of 2,500 to 3,000 kelvin.

As for wattage, you probably want something between the 1.5 to 2.5 watt range. I recommend that you count the number of LED's on the burnt out lamps and somewhat match that if the brightness is close to what you like.

I'd probably go for 2 watts as that's about a 20 watt equivalent and the 921's that are common in most RV's are 18 watts.

M4 Products

These guys are arguably the best in the business...and about 1/3 the price you were quoted! See their sections on lighting color and brightness (lumens) to learn all you need to know.

FWIW, I did not purchase from M4. Like many others, I cut out the middleman and bought straight from china via ebay and amazon. I am very happy with the results.

Here is what you need to do. Search g4 base led lights. Your result will give you many choices. Light intensity on an led is a function of the number of diodes (little rectangular w/yellow circle) called SMD's wired onto the pc board, usually round. The more packed on the disc, the more visible light emitted.

SMD principle works like this; the larger, as defined by numbers like 5050 or 5630, means more emitted light and thus higher watt burn. Also, they will advertise warm or white light. Warm means closer to incandecent in color, but less visible light, compared to white light.

Don't pay up for led's from companies that claim theirs are better, they are all made in china. The main difference is some pc board circuitry, that helps with interference, if any.

Shop them, deals can be had very cheap. Try ebay, they ship direct from china, eliminating the middle man. I personally purchased at least 60 from china in various bulb configurations and non have failed yet.

Heck, while your at it, search led bulb base types, pull up a chart and order back ups for the various types currently in your RV (i.e. range hood, outside markers, refrigerator, etc.). You will save a ton doing it that way over ordering stateside, which they get from china anyway. Just sayin'.

Interior led bulbs

Light covers. How do they come off? I don't want to break them. Saw 2 slots on each side.
