Intermittent left brake and flasher problem

First happened at Goshen but was ok when checked out, happened again and cleared up again, very annoying and costly for fuses. Finally found it today, wire caught between the battery for and the frame.

That would sure cause an issue or two. I am happy you found it. Some of those things can be so hard to track down because wires just disappear. I was working on a boat one time and there was a couple of three way switches for the pumps. I new the issue was with the runner wire between the two, as I wired the two switches externally just for troubleshooting. There was no way I could ever follow that wire to find the issue, so it became much easier to just poke a new wire, (which was a job in itself), then to attempt to fix the old wire. I am sure someone will someday scratch their head wondering what that extra wire goes to.
