Inverter draw when switched off?

Just curious. I have finally installed my 1000W Xantrex Inverter and it works fine.

It is connected directly to by batteries (2 x 6V), using 2GA wiring, 5ft long.

When switched off, does the inverter draw anything ? I do not want drain my batteries while in storage. I have a Disconnect Switch, but elected to wire the inverter directly to Pos+ and Neg- of the batteries.

From what I could read in the manual, it draws .3A when turned ON with no load, but it's not clear to me that the draw is 0 (nil) when powered off.

Thanks,

Should have no draw when switched off.
Unless it has an off led indicating light.

Ie green on red off.

That's what I am thinking. When OFF no draw at all.

I will take a look tomorrow at my voltage after a few days.

Thanks.
