Inverter Light stays on

I have a 2018 Sierra 371REBH 5th wheel. There is an inverter rocker switch on the panel for lights, slides, water pump and water heater. The rocker switch is illuminated in either switch position. Is this a normal condition? I've reviewed the manual, but can't find a reference on this.

Any help will be appreciated,

The switch is probably wired backwards. On illuminated switches there is a load and a source side. Also a ground. Swap the load and the source side and it should work properly. Make sure you don't move the ground.

Out of curiosity, why do you call this an inverter switch for these items mentioned? Some of those are 12V.

Thanks for your reply. The switch is labeled "Inverter"

I'm not having any problems with the appliances the inverter is powering, but just trying to be proactive regarding the inverter..

On my sandpiper if the button on the inverter is on then the switch in the cabinet will stay lit up no matter which way you rock it.

Go in the compartment where your inverter is and see if the inverter is running. If it is, push the button on the inverter and see if it turns off. If it does not, go back inside and hit the lit rocker switch. It should turn off now.

The inverter light inside the camper will turn on in the Sierra / Sandpiper if you turn the inverter on either at the inverter or inside the camper itself.
