Inverter Powered Outlet on F.R. 2160

Recently acquired a Forest River 2860 Sunseeker..and I'm about to take it to my first NFL game, I have a question, I purchased a AC based TV for inside,

I don't want to run my generator the entire time tailgating and after the game, my forest river didn't come with a manual so I'm curious is there a Inverter powered Outlet on my Sunseeker that I can use?

Thanks..

it's a 2011 Sunseeker

Is this a 2160 or a 2860 I'm a little confused. Do you have an inverter or just a converter?

Probably didn't have an inverter from the factory.
So it would be an aftermarket install.
Therefore you probably don't have an inverter powered outlet.

So that takes me to the next question, can i just buy a Inverter that I can plug into the DC outlet near the TV and use that to power off the batteries... It's a 22in LED it can't really take that much power, Think I can use a 200W or so inverter?

That is what I do. Just plug the inverter into the 12volt outlet behind the tv and plug the TV in to that.

A 200 watt pure sine wave inverter would do you just fine for that TV.

We bought a 12 volt TV but use a 200 watt Harbor Freight modified sine wave inverter for the DirecTV box and we haven't blown it up yet. I don't even notice it getting warm during use. Oddly, friend of mine who is a shop tech tore the 750 watt Harbor Freight modified sine wave inverter apart on his bench and tested it every which way including with an oscilloscope and he reported it to be extremely efficient considering the price and pretty darn clean as modified sine waves go. I'm hoping the same applies to the 200 watt and 400 watt Harbor freights that I have.

Most importantly, they seemed to work fine
