Inverter Size?

We have a Rockwood 8280WS, any idea as to what size inverter I should buy? Also any suggestion on a battery charger (to instal ) to recharge our 2 (12 volt ) batteries using a Honda 2000 gen. My plan is to install the 2 batteries, inverter and battery charger in the front storage bay. I would use the Honda to recharge the batteries when they got low, rather than using the 5th wheels built in converter. ??

For your set up I would recommend an inverter no larger than 1000 watts continuous (1200 or more peak). Your batteries will not be able to supply anything larger for more than a few minutes anyway.

for why...
