L1 and Neutral Reversed at park power pole

We recently stayed at a park that indicated that L1 and Neutral were reversed on the 50 amp connection. Contacted management before plugging in RV and they said that all their poles were safe and wired correctly. I went to other poles and they were the same. They said they had had no complaints about power problems. Does anyone know if this condition is ok to plug into. We did and experienced no problems. I tested the pole with a SurgeGuard 44270 power tester.
