Lack of Running / Marker Lights

TV = 2012 1500 Chevy
TT = 2013 Stealth EVO

With the truck connected there are no marker lights in the Auto headlight mode, all other lights work fine. i.e. Brakes, turn flashers. If I turn the headlight switch to the on position all lights will work fine. any help would be appreciated. Have checked DRL fuses under the hood, none show blown. I can also jump the pins between 12V power and marker (brown wire) on the TT side and the light work as well. only when hooked up to the truck in DRL mode are they inop.

Agreed in auto "during the day" you'll not have running lights on truck or camper.

In auto mode cover the sensor on the dash and they'll come on then.

Thanks

Thanks for the assistance. It was that the regular headlights had to be on either by me manually turning them on or them coming on as a result of darkness.

I found the same thing and can just about guarantee within 3-4 minutes into a drive I'll hear my wife say, "Turn your lights on."

Even when she was following behind me in her own car, she had my daughter text me to do it.

Mine does the same thing in Auto. When it's raining or otherwise low visibility, I always switch from Auto to Parking Lights or Headlights in order to turn on the marker lights to make myself more visible to other drivers, especially those approaching from behind.
