LED awning light strips - hard wiring question

Any advice on hard wiring LED awning light strips into an RV?

Shasta Oasis 18BH owner. We have a 12' awning with a porch light and an electrical outlet outside, but wondering what the best option would be to hard wire lights in so we don't have to run the cord down and plug them in all the time.

Just not sure if you can somehow tap into the electric awning? or do I have to possibly drill into the trailer itself and access the electrical above the kitchen area.
