LEDs & a Battery instead of a Gold Watch

I will be retiring at the end of the month after 39+ years with a large locally based chemical company and I was asked what I wanted for a retirement gift. (Cash not allowed by IRS). I told them I would like a new battery and an LED upgrade for the Sabre.

I already picked out a Trojan battery and now shopping for LED's but need some help. I've seen many posts on the subject but most were pretty old.

Here's where I'm at:
921 Wedge: Amazon.com: GRV T10 Wedge 921 194 25-3528 SMD LED Bulb lamp Super Bright Warm White DC 12V Pack of 10: Automotive

G4 - Ceiling pucks: Brightech - G4 Base 12V LED Light Bulb Replacement - Warm White Color - Disc Type Side Pin 10 Watt Halogen Replacement for RV Campers, Trailers, Boats, and Under-cabinet Lights. Warm White Light for Best Ambience and Conformt - Led Household Light Bu

And Comments, suggestion or recommendations would be appreciated.

We are heading out on RRT#1(Retirement Road Trip) at the end of March and would like to do fully charged and well lit..

Thanks

Make sure you check the actual color temperature of the lights, don't rely on their claim of "warm white". It should be between 2700-3000K. I checked the specs on your first link and it says 3000-3500K. Which is 2 warning signs to me. One, that it will be more cool white than you want if they are closer to 3500 (cool white is 4000k). I'm also worried about the range spec and not a specific color. They should say it is X and not between X and Y.

Also keep in mind all of these cheap LEDs have a narrower color index, probably around 80. Which means not all colors are represented, so everything inside the camper won't look exactly like it will under the sun - including your clothes and makeup. Not a big deal in most cases. You'll have to pay much more to get high-quality lights in the 90-93 range (incandescent lights are 100).

I bought all mine from Home - Filament Free LEDs (through my brother a Montana owner). google it and you'll find them.
They make superb LEDs I have had zero issues with their stuff.
No radio TV interference and very nice color light and brightness.
Take a look.
It seems the guy has a Montana 5er so he sells to people on the Montana forum, cheaper. If you know anyone with a Montana and is on that forum he gives a 20% discount to Montana forum members.

I just checked out the web site and liked what I saw and read. I think I'd be more comfortable paying a little more and buying from a "member of the tribe".

Did u buy any G4 replacements. If so which ones.

Thanks for the lead!

Jeff

Yes, I bought G4 replacements. I used 12 Led for my lights since the lights were two pucks fairly close together. They were bright enough for our use. They were over the sink area and over the dining table.
