Light not working

This light over our sink isn't working. Never has. Would rather not pull back to dealer for this. Are the two tabs to pop it open? Anything serviceable here to look at ourselves? Just pry open with a screw driver?

In my unit, I have a switch at the entrance that needs to be on and also the switch on the fixture to be on to work.....see thread for lens removal.

You might want to take it down if replacing the bulb doesn't fix it and look at the wiring. I've seen more than one that had a wire loose going to the lamp.

Fonzie's suggestion should be studied. I've had this problem before with either the wall switch or the switch on the lamp being OFF. Both must be ON. I'd investigate this possibility before I disassembled anything.
