Lights for a cargo box

heres the sit. (thats code for situation)

2017 ts 2390, with a 2016 transit chassis, we want to carry a box on back, since they are so big they come with turn and brake lites.

my question; how to hook up a 4 prong plug, to the box,

can it be done thru the rear light housings? or is it plugged in to the harness somewhere in the back.

or any other way?

the problem being; the undercarriage was winterized with foam from FR, and they covered Everthing including wires plugs etc.

let me know what chu know

AND I'm not even sure it is wired for additional lites because they really aren't meant to 'tow' anything - even tho they are rated at 200# whew

thx

I take it there is a hitch. If so there should be a 4 wire female plug. Does it have separate bulbs for turn and stop or separate stop/turn and run. Makes a difference when wiring for a trailer.

lites

yeah, they are prewired in the box.

A 'Stow away,', yes only a 4 prong needed,

want to know Where the tie in would be,?

More then likely where the tail light wiring comes across the back of the unit, that is where it Ts in. Any other vehicles I connected at that location. Left hand back corner.
