I'm not convinced about the number of cycles of these new LI batt's. lab testing is NOT the same as years in RV use. It's not just number of cycles but also number of years, temperature ranges etc that ultimately decide how long the batts would last.
IMO, there are a few reasons to wait. I remember the LED crazy stuff early on with the 10,000 hour claims and then saw them fail in my sailboat after one season in real use. Now they are better it seems.
Give me a couple 6volt wet cells anyday.
