Lost DC (battery) power

So as the story goes. We left last August for South Dakota. During the trip from Illinois we pulled over for a quick pit stop (might have been the first of this year). Afterwards the wife said the FW pump will not come on (to flush the bowl). I checked holding tank level lights and sure enough no power there either. Everything (Fridge, Furnace, AC, Slides, Lights, Pumps) works fine when plugged into the 30amp 115V power pole. Although the battery checked good at spring start up I purchased another. Put the old one on a trickle charge. However, when I plugged the charger in, the meter only slightly raised. And sure enough after a overnight trickle charge to the newer battery and connecting...... no power. I haven't done a complete check of all 12volt systems but I do not see any abnormal operations or conditions when disconnecting, reconnecting, or traveling down the road. All pre-checks (lights) are good after connecting to the travel vehicle. This condition has presented its self for 2-3 months and numerous break downs and setups. No hot wires, no blown fuses, no tripped breakers. Any ideas?
