Hello from Europe,
We have a strange problem and can't find the reason or better say how or where to fix it.
After a powerfailer we don't have electricity at the sockets in the outdoor kitchen, outdoor sockets and partly in the bedroom! In the bedroom we have 4 sockets and 3 of them are not working but only one ? Please help!!!

You should check the GFCI outlet, probably in the bath. If it trips it will cut power to all outlets downstream. Push the reset button on it.

Don't know what your GFCI (ground fault circuit interrupter) looks like in Europe, or if you even have them in outlets like we do. This is what a US GFCI looks like.

The buttons might be colored (red for reset, black for test), but in general they look something like in the picture.

Let us know if you get it taken care of!

Tim

Wondering how anything ever worked since European caravan hook-ups are 230v @ 50hz. Bitte erleuchten sie uns, wie sie ihre einheit umgebaut haben. Danke.

Photos attached are from my Zakopane 2012 excursion.

Hello

Hello,
At first thanks for trying help us!! ;-)

as far as I know the 12v electricity system stayed like it is and was. For the 110v stuff an Transformator was build in who transform 220v to 110v. All US gfci were changed to Switzerland ones.

I PUT PICTURES IN A GALLERY FOR YOU

OK, Got it and I am familiar with the conversion. Soooo, I suggest that you trace the wire(s) from the transformer that go to your OEM power distribution panel and look for a tripped breaker there. It may not be in the panel itself. Then my next question; does the transformer have it’s own breakers like an inverter may have?
