Missing blue light on 30A cord coach end

At extremely cold temps here (hovering around 0), I have the RV plugged in to charge the batteries. There is a blue light at the outdoor socket (power source) end. But no blue light at the coach end (on the RV's flip cover) . It looks like it might be frozen (if there is such a thing) or dead. I have confirmed electricity in the coach - the clock light is on for the microwave and I can run the convection oven. Anyone else seen this or know if it means anything?

There has been many documented cases here on the forum of the indicator light going bad.
It won't hurt anything not working but if still under warranty, maybe you'll want it fixed?
Lots of folks had to have theirs replaced several times and finally just gave up.

I have heard anything from day one to a year or two before they go out. Mine is picky if it will work, power is good to the trailer though.

My 50a trailer has 2... one for each leg. One works; one doesn't. Power is good as has been stated. After reading here about their failure rate, I decided not to care.

Had a lot of campers that never had this feature. Always open the door and look to see if my night light is on. It's just some more things to go wrong. I really don't miss it working. Later RJD

I bet Furrion really regrets having added the LEDs... probably cost a fortune in warranty costs because of such poor design and/or manufacture. The cord works the same with or without the lights (there are no active electronics) and if you plug in at the inlet first and then the power post, you could already have done the damage before you can react to the lights.

Mine died, first at the inlet cover then at the plug end, within weeks. However, a real power management system (Progressive/SurgeGuard, portable/hardwired) is far superior so I don't care that the idiot lights are out.
