Mystery Switch

Anybody know what this little knob is for??it clicks in & out & has 2 wires going to it..can't hear anything start or stop when I play with it.im new to this trailer stuff..thanksClick image for larger version

It could be your battery "cut off" switch. This turns off all the little lights, sensors etc. when you don't want any drain on the battery, when in storage for example. I have a different TT but that is what my switch looks like.

A Few Pictures - sport

Well everything still works when I push it in so I will keep investigating..previous owner said they never touched it cuz they didn't know what it was..FYI it's a 1999 22" wildwood toy hauler .thanks

(chuckle) There's a lot of discussion about which way is which on a battery disconnect, so DH and I tested ours and made a label for it;

Battery switch, but looks like it was installed for something else. Probably just have to trace wires...

I chased them.1 goes to a little junction bolt & the other to a positive on 1 of the batteries..everything works weather it's in or out..thanks for all the input..Click image for larger version

Are you running off of battery when everything still works? Or are you plugged into shore power? If your camper is still plugged in, your converter usually works without a battery and it could look like this battery disconnect doesn't do anything.

I'm on battery power.i checked with a volt meter @ the knob & it had juice..I will keep playing around with it.thanks for all the help

I believe it is the battery knob but if hooked up to truck it is overridden. Unplug from truck and it should work to kill the battery when pulled.
