NAV Radio over heating?

I have 2014 Sunseeker with Navigation and DVD in the dash. When traveling and sometimes just camping it will stop playing my Disc or movie. When I remove the Disc/DVD it is extremely hot, like almost melting hot. If I don't play something for a few minutes, reinsert, it will start playing again, like it had to cool down or something. Has anybody else encountered this?

Since the chassis is a Ford, I would call you're nearest Ford dealer and talk to some one in the service dept. Nav units do get hot and the disks fell like they might burn your hand, but they should still work.
