Need Help on 12 volt convertor

I think i have determined that i have a problem with the 12 volt part of the convertor. my battery gets sucked dry even when plugged into the campground power. the campground post has proper power and my tester tells me that i have proper power coming into all the outlets in the camper and the AC works. the lights go dim and the battery isn't being charged by the camper when plugged into the campground power.

My question is can i replace the 12 volt convertor myself? i have a 2011 Sandpiper 5th wheel with living room slide, bedroom slide and rear bunk slide that pushes out the back (sorry i can't remember the model number) Also wondering if anyone has an opinion on what kind of 12v convertor to put in? i would like to put in a better model than what came in there from the factory. Any advice/help is Much Appreciated.
Thanks,
Jody

Are you sure you don't have a bad battery? If you're connected to ac power and all your 12vdc components are working and you have 12vdc at your battery, seems as though your converter is converting.....addressing your question, I don't see why you couldn't change it yourself, shouldn't be too complicated but it may void any extended warranty you may have.
