New SunSeeker Owner looking to Install Inverter

Just purchased my first motorhome (2015 SunSeeker 2860DS) and I am looking to augment with an inverter and 4 deep cycle 6 volt batteries.... I am somewhat familiar with inverter systems as I have a cabin that I set up with one.

Has anyone done this themselves and can give me any advice or recommendations?

I am thinking about locating the inverter and batteries in the storage compartment just in front of the side door and stairs where the existing coach batteries are. However this looks like it needs reinforcement to handle the weight. Has anyone done similar? Have a different configuration or recommendation on wiring path? How easy is it to add a solar panel?

Thanks for any thoughts
