No 12 Battery power in 5er

we have a 2012 FR Wildcat 312BHX. When we are plugged into shore power everything works great. But when we disconnect from shore power, nothing works except for the front jacks that are wired directly to the battery terminals. I have pushed the little reset buttons on each of the connection terminals but nothing changes. I've seen people post about a possible battery on/off switch - I can't find one, but does anyone know if these 5ers had them installed from the factory? If so, where? If not, any other suggestions to get the 12 volt from battery to work? I do have a new battery connected and get 12.2 reading at that terminal. I appreciate any help offered. Thank you.

Look in the front of your converter where the 12-volt fuses are. Look for 2 fuses that are side by side. 30 or 40 amp fuses. These are reverse polarity fuses. I suspect they were blown installing the new battery. If you have a battery disconnect it is On the battery post, Near the battery compartment (follow the wires) or visible inside the coach. It's a very identifiable switch. Not like a wall switch. Some have a plastic key inserted.

Cavie,
Thanks for pointing that out. That fixed it. We had seen 2 "keys" laying around and never knew what they were for. The battery power works now.

I love it when a plan comes together.

Remember. Each time you change batteries to turn off that switch or remove reverse polarity fuses.
