No 120 power

Figures on the wayhomefrom Goshen problems. First a question, how can I tell if I have a surge protector? Pais the dealer to hard wire it. He saidhe put it behind my electric panel. Can I tell withouttearing everything out? Was awakened lastnite bysome clicking noise folloewedby a ring. Then np 120 power. No a/c microwave. Checked our gfi and it wont reset. Power coming to the unit from the source. Lookatthefuses and all seem ok. On the road so don't have access to all my regular tools. Any ideas?

Wow. Must have confused everyone with the 120 rather than 110. Oh well

May not be the best awnser, but remember 2 am after driving 400+miles no real electric checkers so Furion cords have a blue led indicator on each end indicating power. Both were lit.
Hmmm Buzzard threads get baried fast maybe I should change my name. Also missed you at Goshen this year

Try flipping the pedestal breaker off and then back on again. If surge picked up something you need to power off for it to reset. Will take a few minutes once power restored for the unit to reset and allow power in. I had a similar issue, drove me nuts for about 15 mins. I forgot to shut the breaker off when I plugged in and the surge registered a grounding issue so didn't work. When I reset, I didn't wait long enough. Finally got the paperwork out and realized you have to give it up 3 mins to reset once it has detected an event.
