No brake or signal lights
Read several threads. Can't find a solution.
When plugged into the f250 I have running lights but no brake lights or signals.
Ford dealership checked the truck and didn't find any problems there.
Not aware of a breaker on the trailer controlling only the signals and brake lights.
Any help would be appreciated.

Check the 7 pin plug on the TV. There are usually separate fuses in TV for the TT lights. Check TV manual for an aux fuse panel. Sometimes inside the cab.

The dealership did that.

Remove a light cover and check the voltage when connected to the TV. You could have corrosion or a bad ground. The grounds are usually the culprit.

My running lights work. Would checking the voltage the way you said do it still need to be done? I checked the turn signal/brake light bulbs.

If you have power to all the pins in the 7 pin plug and the running lights work, then there can only be four problems.
1. Bulbs burned out in non functioning lights
2. Broken wire to the non functioning lights,
3. Bad ground ground for the non functioning bulbs Each bulb has a ground connection.
4. Corrosion on the sockets for the non-functioning lights.

There is one bulb in each tail light. Inside the bulbs are 2 filaments. One for the running lights and one for the turn/stop combo. The filaments for running lights works. Filaments for stop turn don't work.

I've seen plenty of those lamps where one filament will work fine and the other be broken. Check continuity across both filaments.
If that's not it, refer back to FlyBob's post in #6.

2008 F250/F350 brake light and signal light fuse under the hood on the driver side (depends on the year which I believe this is for 2008-2011). Quicker to check the fuse than measure each connection

If you have tail lights on the TT, you have a ground. Newer vehicles have completely separate circuits for the TV light functions and the trailer functions. They are fused separately. If you had only one side functioning for brake/turn signals, it could be a bad bulb, but neither side is working. The left and right brake/turn wires are on opposite sides of the 7-pin. It would be rare that wiring to both sides had an issue. So you are looking for a common cause. The most likely is the fuse block. If the tech checked the fuse for the TV lights it would show no issues because they are functioning. Would suggest finding the trailer brake/turn fuse location in the owner's manual and replace that fuse.

It was what bama rambler said. Even though both filaments looked fine, the stop turn filament was bad. New bulbs and it all works.
Thanks for the info from bama rambler, flybob and imiken.

That's extremely unusual for both filaments to go out at the same time. You may want to convert to LEDs. A TV conversion to LEDs may require a resistor because of the turn signals, but the TT conversion is just a matter of switching bulbs. Should you decide to change, handle the LEDs with a soft rag or tissue to prevent skin contact with the elements. Skin oil can cause premature LED failures.

Skin oil affects halogen bulbs or bulbs of that nature. LED's are a Light Emitting Diodes. Skin oil does not affect them. I work with LED's every day.

Had the same thing happen to me this summer. Check your truck owners manual, the trailer circuits are seperate from the trucks, there are fuses on your fuse block for the trailer lights. It was space 100 on mine.
