this usually happens when someone reverses the battery wires.
on travel trailers, this breaker is along the A-frame of the tongue.

Just wanted to say Thank You!
I have a 2008 8240SS and it has two 12volt power breakers with the small black button reset. One in the fifth wheel tongue and one in the forward box right next to the batteries. After having my brakes worked on in Oregon I have had no 12volt power. It wasn't reasonable to pull it back to the other coast for repairs and I was so not looking forwards to paying someone to hunt down the problem... or replacing my inverter ... so many expensive options were weighing heavy on my mind and it was two silly teeny tiny buttons!
You rock!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!
