No power

When plugged into shore power the only things that work are the microwave and the electric hot water tank on 110 volt. Nothing 12 volts works but when I turn the engine on all the 12 volt systems work Any ideas would be great

Sounds like maybe you have your coach batteries disconnected.

Everything was working then the lights went out but the microwave display was still lit up. The rear furnace was the first to go out then later that night the lights went out. When you start the engine the 12 volt system came back and when you shut the engine off the 12 volt system went away.

Start by checking converter circuit breaker.

Coach batteries could be dead. Also disconnected as suggested.

Sounds like your converter/charger is not working. If 12v was working and slowly went out, you were probably running off the coach batteries until they went dead. When you started the engine you were able to get power from the engine alternator.

Check your 120v circuit breakers and see if any are tripped. Look for one marked 'converter.'

There are a few things tied directly to the battery in my 2012 GT 378 and they are, the awning/steps and others. Do they still operate? If you engage the emergency start switch (ignition off) and get the 12 volt systems back (ties chassis and coach batteries together)that may indicate a bad converter.

Have you checked that the converter circuit breaker has not tripped?

Converter was fine. I said it was the coach disconnect switch was broken and they poow pood my suggestion and replaced a solenoid because it had power on one side but not the other. It didn’t work and I said because it needs power from the broken disconnect switch. So they jumpered from one side of the solenoid to the other and wahla it works. Thanks for your input we will check the switch tomorrow.
