No power from Generator 2020 Isata3fw

OK we have the 2020 Dynamax Isata 3fw Delivered yesterday morning bread we went through the orientation at the dealership and everything worked fine. Today we were setting everything up for a weekend trip that will be coming up and are generator when turned on will not power the marker wave or the overhead air conditioner unit. We check the generator in nature the switch was in the on position we started and restarted again and again and no power to either. We hooked up to shoreline to test it and everything worked once we come out of shoreline generator will not supply power What are we doing wrong if anything. We also located the control panel next to the bed against the back wall remove the plate wake up the wires tried again nothing works.

People are going to need more information to help you. What model is your generator? Did you check the circuit breakers on the generator? There are usually two. Did you check the circuit breaker for generator on your AC Electrical Panel inside the RV?

I am not an expert but I know that somewhere on your RV there is what they call a Transfer Switch. This directs power from either shore power or generator to the distribution panel in your RV. It is possible that a wire may have come loose or some other issue with that. I have no idea where they put it. Perhaps other owners of units like yours can tell you.

No Power

On the 2020 Dynamax Isata 3 FW it is located next to the bed against back wall, extremely tight fit. Pulled panel and wiggled all wires going into the "transfer box (?)" to no avail. My 13 yo Grandson could barely reach it..Still no power. For Electrical outlets we even switched the GFI's to no avail. So, Gen is not connected somewhere, somehow..no ac, no outlets work, no microwave.

Boy, I wish I could offer you more help. If shore power works and generator doesn't, it has to either be output from generator, or bad transfer switch. If you have a multi-meter you can check if there is input coming from the generator. Other than that I don't know what else you can do other than going to a dealer.

just to confirm.

are you sure you have an automatic transfer switch? that panel you pulled was for a transfer switch and was not your distribution panel?

i do not know your unit. but some units do not have an automatic transfer switch and you must plug the shore power cord into a receptacle that is wired with the generator output.

if you do have a transfer switch the problem has to be either the output of the generator or the transfer switch itself as everything past the transfer switch works on shore power.

Isata 3's do have a transfer switch. Sounds like you are doing everything right, I would let the Dealer figure it out under Warranty. Shouldn't be that hard.

There is a small black switch next to the start switch by the oil fill on the generator itself. Not sure what it does but is always on with my generator. Just remove the front cover on the generator.
