The link to the amazon converter is not that bad a price and if you have Prime (or share it with a friend) the shipping is free.

I've looked on Amazon and Ebay both have good prices. We use Amazon a lot for other camping items. My converter is the WFCO 9855 which was around $159.

Herk, I was following those diagrams until I got to the bridge rectifier and got dizzy.

As I said here recently A/C is a fad and will be going away soon. Good thing too, those rectifier salesmen are just a bit too smug with their correcting back and forth electricity.

Lj sha...... Sorry to hijack your thread. Hope you get it figured out and get back to camping soon. I see you were at ocean lakes. We are headed there in two weeks. How was it? We've never been. Heard it can be crowded and rowdy.

Very nice place. We were 4 spots from the beach and had no issues with people. Everyone was polite and helpful. I will say that golf carts are great to get around on since the campground is huge.

Forgot to mention that traffic on 17 and 544 was heavy. They are in the process of new construction to make travel easier.

Anything I can avoid or detour? Was planning on going straight in 544 to ocean lakes entrance. We are headed down from Newark De. Thanks

Can't avoid it. That route is the best way to go. We made in 9 hours 20 min from Georgetown.
