No Trailer Lights (clearance, turn signal, etc.)

Have a 2016 FR Cedar Creek Silverback 33IK

Having trouble with my exterior trailer lights (clearance, tail lights, brakes, running lights). The front lights up when connected to the truck, but not the back of the trailer. Pins on the truck connector all show power.

One tail light had water in it, so I removed the light and reconnected the wiring. Still no lights.

Any ideas, or wiring diagrams to share?

THANK YOU!

You are sure that the truck plug works ??? The truck side of the plug and tail lights are on different fuses.

If the truck plug works my first thought is a bad ground between the truck and trailer.

Sorry I missed that the front lights, light up. Still I would check grounds. Do you have a 12V test light? Are you getting any 12V at the rear? Check connections in the junction box were the pigtail goes into the trailer as well

I'm thinking you had a mouse problem.

I had a Timberlodge that had the same thing as you. The front clearance lights worked but the side clearance, tail and brake lights did not. The belly of the trailer had woven black plastic tarp material on it and the mice got inside and chewed through the wires.

My present TT had chipmunks (ground squirrels) get into the opening for the manual bedroom slide and chewed through the wires for the step light and clearance light by the steps. That is going to be a big job to repair as I have to drop the 3' x 8' side panel.

BTW, mice and chipmunks love the vegetable oil based insulation on the wires.

Found it!

Have the tools and yes, it was the mouse!

Pulled sections of the underbelly off and located the break. (And put out some mouse eliminator!)

Thank you for your suggestions and help.

Hate mice. How many cats did you get?

I had the same problem. I bought 2 new light bulbs. Problem solved. My bulbs “looked” good but apparently they weren’t good,
