Onan Digital Display showing 8111.5 on start?

Just a curious question - I've got the MicroQuiet 4KW in my toy hauler and when I press start, the hours meter shows "8111.5" while the switch is pressed. Anyone know if this means anything? Does your display show it as well?

I guess I should point out that it's a brand new generator - so no, that's not 8111.5 hours on the meter

Bump mine is new and does the same thing then the regular hrs show up. I have 11.7 hrs. on my 5500 Onan now. Sure is a nice quiet genny. This is my 5th generator but 1st Cummins Onan 5500 and it like it better so far than the rest I've owned.
