Onan inastall question

Hi All, I have a 04 All American Sport 5th Wheel, 36CK Toy Hauler. Set up for a Gen. I have a 4000 Watt Onan that I want to install in the RV. Does anyone have this setup? Advice? Pics.? My main concern is how it sits, mounts in the RV. Any help would be great. Thanks

This should be your manual here:

In re to installing it it should be oriented with the start panel facing you. Is this the original set to the trailer or a replacement?

I was told by a RV mechanic who inspected the unit for me, before I bought it. That it was set up for a Gen. It has a metal box on the street side of the pass thru storage area with a junction box mounted up on one of the side walls with a 30 amp breaker in it. The wires go from that box to a compartment where the RV 30amp power cord is located. There is a 30amp receptacle box there where you can plug in the power cable. The compartment door has a screen in it, covered by a panel now that can be removed. The floor in the box I think is plywood covered by a rubber flooring. My main concern is how to mount the Onan. Do I just mount it in the box? Cut out the bottom flooring for the venting? Should the venting be taken to the bottom of the RV? The bottom of the box is above the lower edge of the RVs side panel by maybe 2ft. I can handle the exhaust. I was going to use a portable marine type fuel system. We won't be using the Gen. much. Planning on a few NASCAR Races. Thanks

Do you have a pic of the compartment you are mounting it in?
