This place has the best prices on batteries I've seen. Jerry

Been my experience UPS ships wet cell batteries. The boxes are clearly marked hazmat and the box orientation arrow is on all 4 sides.

I have ordered acids and lye and had no issues as well.

I've tried all and any you can think of, my recommendation is 2 6v acid batteries with at least a 230ah rating. They last for years, give great service and all the money you save can never be gotten back. Yea they all brag but unless you're engineer the entire system you won't beat the service you get from 2 6 volt golf cart batteries! Don't believe me call some of the manufacturers and see what they tell you.

And that's just my 2 cents.

You're right...if all goes well...ya can't beat 6Volts. Problem is....all doesn't go well sometimes and you end up with one good battery that can't run your coach. The best foolproof way is a pair of 2 12V true deep cycles...then if one fails...the trip can go on.
If you're doing a 4 battery system...then 2 pairs of 6V give the best performance and no worries about redundancy.

Be careful buying from Amazon. I've heard horror stories about warranties not being covered on the high end batteries. Apparantly Amazon is not considered an authorized dealer. (Have heard this from others, I have no experience with this situation)

Interesting. I would have thought it would show up in a review.
Amazon has been awesome refunding money for any item I was unsatisfied with and in one case got my money back AND gave me a gift card for the same amount!

Just saying...the link I supplied in the first message was for WET batteries and they do ship via UPS ground. In fact, while in Moab, talked with a friend who runs an auto shop and all his batteries, wet or agm are shipped via UPS ground to his shop. If I was still in Moab, I would have just ordered the batts from him, but no longer there.

I guess I started a good discussion, but still wondering if anyone has dealt with the place I referenced in my first post. Their prices seemed to be very good.

Wanted to stay with wet batteries since my popup has the cheapest converter made and not sure if AGM would be ok. One of my Deka has a bad cell, so needed to replace both. Wanted to try Trojan.

atbatt will not ship UPS only via truck. So, I might go ahead and try the place I noted since their prices if very similar.
