Good point! I didn't consider the thermostat.

Also check your emergency brake cable. If it pulled out and switched the brakes on, it will pull your voltage down.

Got new PD4655V converter in this last weekend now lights are bright and 14.4 amps at battery. AC is still not coming on, ordered new AC start capacitor to see if that helps. I do believe the ac should still come on with shore power if the start capacitor is bad but I need one anyway being it checked out bad. May even go ahead and purchase an overload switch for the unit. I will update when new part comes in. Maybe this thread will help someone in the future.

Install a hard start kit at
A/C, this is a secondary capacitor added to assist the main start capacitor.

Update on AC and DC convertor. Replaced convertor and all works good except compressor on AC not coming on. Ordered new Start compacitor and installed and still no compressor working. I am wondering if thermostat could be bad and not sending volts to start compressor or if would have anything to do with that due to fan motor coming on. Any suggestions?

Well...since you replaced the cap, put a voltmeter on the contactor and see if the thermostat is asking for cool...trace the 110 VAC on the unit to the compressor. Probably a problem with the contactor, but could be the thermostat.

I replaced the Dometic Thermostat (analog) last year at this time with another one just like the original. I now have no high/low fan and the compressor is not coming on. I can deal with the fan not having H/L and I checked the voltage at the cool terminal and its reading 8.5 volts while the furnace is a full 12 volts. I find this strange. Can I replace with a digital from Walmart? I know the H/L fan will not work but again I can deal with that. Thanks

Bypass the thermostat to test.

not sure I am qualified to attempt that... I am taking it to a HVAC man this weekend and let him make an analyse of the situation. I will post back and let everyone know what the problem was and maybe it can help someone in the future

7335: is this a 35 amp converter? I would upgrade to a 55 amp
Some items will work down to 10.5vdc
Large draw items will not.
The battery should be installed it absorbs the voltage spikes; this could possibly be what took out your converter.

Actually I just noticed I put 7335 it is supposed to be 7355, its a 55 amp converter. I also discovered my problem with AC, it turns out its the control board. I have one ordered and should be back in business within a week or so. It takes awhile to get the part from CA. I also ordered a Honeywell Digital Thermostat to replace my analog. After reading some post that had demo's on how to DYI I figured I'd give it a try. I will post later when all is replaced.
