Over-Winter batteries

What are the recommendations for a charger/ conditioner for my battery's?
I have two interstate 6-volt x 232aH battery's. I have them in the shop, and want to keep them healthy.
Thanks

IMO your cheapest route is a battery tender or battery tender JR.
You can get them in 6 or 12v. Hook them up and forget about them till
Spring.
I use one on my trailer ( I leave my 2 12v on there all year) another on
my truck, another on my motorcycle and occasionally put one on my lawn tractor.
BTW my truck has the original battery and it's going on 10 years old.
I credit that to the battery tender which keeps them 100% charged and
that's the best way to extend the life of lead/acid batteries.

I use the Jr model and they've worked well for me for years.

3X Use the Battery Tender Jr on all my batteries when in storage.

So, rig the batteries as a 12-volt bank and place tender on the bank?
Thanks

Double edit! Some guy on Ebay has them new in multiple amounts with free shipping.
All slightly less than $24 and no tax

Edit. WallyWorld has them for $23 with free ship to store.

Either that or buy 2 6v tender jrs.

Just google battery tender Jr.
About $25 each and some places offer free shipping.
WalMart used to carry them but I haven't seen them lately.
I -think- DerbyCycles.net has free shipping. A local company to me!
They used to anyway. I've bought my last 3 from them.
Anyone with a motorcycle, boat, rv, lawn tractor etc that sits more
than is used needs one. They make great Christmas gifts in the "under $30" range!
No I don't work for them but maybe should sell them on Ebay......

My batteries are 6- volt@ 232ah. Does that matter when picking a charger/maintainer?
I was wondering if I would charge as one big 12-volt battery. Just as if it were in the trailer?

Yes the Battery Minder will charge them just like its one large 12v battery. I have a battery cut off switch wired between the batteries and the trailer ... with the battery minder direct connect plug wired directly to the batteries. This allows me to leave the trailer disconnected while in storage, but the batteries stay on the charger.

That sounds like what I'm wanting to accomplish. Thanks!

Do NOT use the one from Harbor Freight. They are NOT like a battery tender!
The HF one does not charge at a high enough rate to keep the battery from
sulfating. I tried to go cheap and ruined my motorcycle battery one winter.
Don't do it.

(How can a little battery half the size of a kids lunch box co$t SO much )

Battery tender Jr and the larger Battery Tender both charge and then rest
the battery. Once the battery is fully charged they shut down into monitor
mode. If voltage drops they fire back up.

Harbor Freight knock offs charge all the time, never shutting off.
Use them an your own risk.
I threw mine away.
