Parallel Generator Help Please

Hi All,
I have a set of Generac IQ2000 generators & Parallel Kit on the way.
I have already installed an Progressive Industry EMS in my Micolite. From reading other threads I understand that Generators can not have a floating Neutral or the Energy management system will shut power off. I called Generac and found out the new IQ2000's do have a floating Ground. I have seen on treads where you can make a plug with Neutral and Ground connected with a wire and plug it into receptacle on generator to solve problem. My question is do I use 1 of these plugs on 1 Generator or being they will be paralleled together with generac parallel kit do I have to use 2 plugs, 1 on each generator?

There is an issue with PI's EMS using Yamaha's 2000W genny. PI recommends to bypass with these genny's to keep from harming EMS unit. I would check with Generac to make sure your genny operates in in true Sine wave before you do use it. You could bypass internally with included jumper or purchase/make a bypass switch if it does not. Installation is straight forward and easy enough, PI has installation video online.

I will call Generac tomorrow and see what they say. I remember reading that about Yamaha. I Hope the new IQ2000 is not the same.

So far I have found this on a Amazon review of this generator:

Generac Power Systems, Inc. says:

Thank you for providing us with your detailed review of the iQ2000 portable inverter generator. Please know that the tube that you have identified serves the purpose of a drain valve for oil overflow/flooding; if the unit is flooded during attempted startup, this tube will allow the unit to drain via the carburetor. Also, the iQ2000 features a pure sine wave. We apologize that you had a difficult time verifying this information.

Hopefully this will help fellow Campers looking to use these generators with their EMS system. So the new Generac IQ2000 should work fine with your Energy management System without having to bypass it. Just by using a plug with Neutral and Ground wired together and plugged into one of the outlets on one of the paralleled generators. I will let everyone know how this works when they arrive and give a review of these new generators. They are going up against the Honda and the Yamaha.
So far I think they are already beating the Yamaha's because Generac has Pure Sine waves where Yamaha has Modified Sine waves which will not work with PI's EMS.

"Yamaha has Modified Sine waves..."

First time I have heard of that.
Some real cheap inverter gennys have MSW, but I don't believe Yamaha is one of them.

As I understand the issue, the Yamaha EF2000iS produces a pure sine wave that is great for computers and other critical devices. However, when an air conditioner starts, the very heavy load will cause a generator's output sine wave to distort, which can harm the Progressive Industries' EMS units. The bigger the surge demand from the A/C, the greater the problem.

Rather than checking with the generator manufacturer, it would be better to get an answer from Progressive Industries. They say they can't test every generator on the market so they may not have an answer. Additionally, their literature, under "Warnings," says, "Never plug EMS into an inverter."

I am aware that some people use their inverter generators with their EMS and have no issues. Again, call Progressive Industries for their take.

Here is a video on the floating ground issue with inverter generators. The adapter plug he's showing is available directly from Progress Industries.

I have checked with PI, not even when paralleled. I have these gennys and EMS unit. Yup stings a little.

For sure.
Good to have a way to bypass in case there's ever an issue with it.

There is a built in bypass on EMS units via a jumper wire. The hardest part is getting to it when you need it. I did install a switch though.
