PI 30Amp Hardwired v. Portable

We have decide to put down some roots for a summer or two (or more) and go with a seasonal site this year. I have a portable PI 30amp power station. I was wondering if there's any issue, other than theft, of leaving it out all summer long? I thought about getting a hardwired, but there's so many more things we now need (like storage sheds, a deck, etc..), and i'd like to use the one i have.

I used a PI 30 amp, portable for 2 seasons at our site. I used a 30 amp extension cord from the pedestal to under the trailer. I locked the PI to the steps framing and plugged both sides in, secure and out of the weather. I could see the display easily. No problems.
