Polarity reversed

Charged our battery and was sure that positive charge was on the positive and so on. Plugged it into our 5th wheel. Started to notice that the switch to the jacks did the opposite. Then entered the trailer and our slideout switches also work in reverse. And....the bedroom slide, a different motor, does work at all. HELP Am afraid to switch the post of the battery.

You have reversed the wires.

Opposite operation is a give away. Lights still work (unless the are LED) but you have blown the reverse current protection in your converter.

AFTER you switch the wires back, you will need to change the two blown ORANGE 40 amp fuses in the power center.
