Possible compatibility problem with Precision Plex holding tank/elbow heater system

If you have the Precision Plex tank heater system in your RV and it gets near freezing for you, you might want to read this thread I just put on the Georgetown forum.

In a nutshell, the Precision Plex system is programmed to require that the house batteries be at a minimum of 13.3 VDC before they will turn the heaters on, but the Progressive Dynamics PD9270 Converter/Charger drops its voltage to 13.2 VDC if the house batteries have not been used in 30 hours.

I'm posting this here because I know the Dynamax also uses the Precision Plex system but I have no idea of those capabilities other than it's a lot more than the Georgetown. There also may be other models using the Precision Plex with the same programming mis-match.

FWIW,

Ray
