Got my PI PT30C today! YES, I READ THE BOOK! Plugged it in to my 30amp plug in my trailer building, an E1 displayed. Says I have reverse polarity in the plug and would not let the power go through. Called an electrician buddy of mine an he directed me to switch the black and white wires. Hooked everything back up. It showed no errors and after 2:16 I heard a snap from the box and wahlah I have power!

A lot of people balk at the price, about $380 for the 50 amp one, but low power at campgrounds can be a big problem also and the damage does not show right away.

Just ordered the 30 amp Progressive Ind. surge protector on sale at camping world. Added a 25ft sewer support and got the $50.00 coupon discount and free shipping with my Good Sam membership. Both items after tax were $216.00. It was like getting the sewer support for free and a great price on the surge protector.

We have the 30 amp in line surge protector. It has tripped twice. Both times during an electrical storm. The cost of the protector is a lot less the replacing one board in the trailer. Will not leave home with out it.

I have a progressive 30a hard wired. The power was so low at one site that it kept kicking out. The power was below 104v. Thats hard on the A/C! The surge guard did its job!

Just purchased a TRC 30 amp surge guard for our TT. We had issues with our power supply at our family cottage and we had to reboot the frig a few times. Hopefully this will solve this issue. So far, so good.
