power awning amperage
Ok this is one for you techies !
I have tried to do some research on the power awning from dometic short of calling them and being put on hold for 3 days .
what Im looking for is the amp draw of the motor on dometics power awning.
I have a 9100 series .

OK, took a while, but:
My awning is 3 years old and grinds a bit more than it did new.
Rolling down - 2.0 amps
Rolling up - 2.1 amps

Of course I will share! Once I get my #$%$@ #*&-%$ installed on my power awning and it works properly. I will gladly share and I think some may do the same.I know I would .

ok since herk got the info I requested I ordered my &$)@!# $&*(())# for my power awning should see it next week.
I will post install pics and how it werks when I get it installed and werking !

Remember I just read my battery monitor's amp meter while running the awning in and out.
Had I known you were betting the farm on my data, I would have been more precise!

What was the mod you were working on. My power awning relay board is bad, and I was thinking of replacing it with a couple of 12V relays, more of an industrial grade solution, instead of the rinkydink pc board that was originally installed.
Were you working on something along those lines?
