Are you sure converter is gone? Have you check mini-breaker underneath front of trailer if it's tripped? Do you have multi-meter to check battery voltage?

If the converter was working he'd have 12v even with no battery at all.

have you pulled out the power converter and looked at it? with the 110 off, look over the wires and see if any soldering has broken loose. Check your wiring for corrosion or if any are loose connections somwhere. Are the lights working with your batt charged up? Unplug the 110, unhook the batt from the camper. Plug in the cable to your tow vehicle and start your tow vehicle. Do you have 12v lights inside the camper? Test around with a volts meter. Don't give up on your converter just yet.
