Really! New one on me.

Now sewer...WOW what a idiot @ Goshen! Never thought of checking sewer (although a plugged sewer could spell disaster if EPIC proportions! )

So...
Electric - check with Progressive PMS
Water - turn on spigot to check
Sewer - Um... It LOOKS OK but what should we do? snake a LED optic down the pipe?

Any thoughts on how to go about verifying that a tank dump will not result in a poop gyser?
Peek inside. Pretty obvious it was filled with loose gravel from the site.

*O*M*G* Lou - I thought you meant you saw someone dumping gravel down the sewer...I had NO idea you meant some butthead had filled the darn thing UP!

OK, yeah, that is a easy inspection.

Now though you have me all paranoid about "Unseen Sewer Blockages"

A sewer won't wreck your RV but would leave a mess for the campground.

Brian,

I have already had a 'close encounter of the sewer kind" so I am already skittish

Never seen one filled with gravel. Though there's been plenty of "umm, this pipe just goes to a hole in the ground. Look, I can even pull it out!" sites. Heck, one site I was at there wasn't even a pipe. Just a 4 x 4 nailed to a plank as the cap on a hole. No threading on the adapter for that one. (Incidentally, that was the same location as our poop geyser incident with the black tank flush mishap. If that hole was filled it could have gotten real messy, real fast! )

Surprised you did not hear about it. It was just a few sites "train side" from your parking spot. Had to move a Class C because of it till we got it cleaned out.
