Thanks everyone. I may have just read more into what the service guy told me if there's nothing special about an outlet for an RV.

I do have a Progressive surge protector on this outlet and it hasn't flashed any codes reflecting any problems.

I picked up my trailer yesterday and the service guy told me when they pulled the power converter out, they found the wires on the back of the trailer's shore power receptacle were very loose causing a short and they're sure that's what caused this whole problem. So in case someone has a similar problem they might wanna check the wires on the back side of their power receptacle.

Let me explain better. The short in the receptacle caused the converter to go bad which caused the battery not to charge and killed my TV and microwave.

Glad you found the issue and got it fixed. Hopefully u can get in another trip or 2 before things cool off!
