Power to the Antenna

We were not getting over 3 channels no matter where we were.

So, I purchased a King OA8200 and installed it today. Overall a piece of cake to do.

I did find out that I did not have 12 volts to the antenna. The connection between the inside and outside roof was loose. So that is tight now and the lights on the 8200 work fine. Getting over 50 channels now in a scan.

So, if your scan results in little nothing needless to say check the booster is on and then check the cable to see if the antenna is even getting voltage.

I have never gotten channels in Western Canada ever on our trailer. The little light for the booster comes on. I have taken it out and compared the wiring to the diagram in the manual and it looks proper. I have checked all the connections I could find. Maybe in Canada we do not get any air channels.

Not that I need the tv but it would be nice rather than watching old dvd's on rainy days lol.
