Powerwinch Issues

I’ve dug through the threads and it’s possible I could have missed it, but I am having issues with the powerwinch/electrical. I’m thinking it’s the circuit breakers at the terminals for the battery, but not 100%.

New battery, been on a charger. But the breakers here may have gotten wet. Picture of what I mean and video of the sounds attached. Ignore the initial clunking. That’s the battery cover falling.

Possible to bypass those breakers? Why 2x 25amp breakers? There is already an inline fuse.

Thanks for any help/insight you all have!

Welcome to the forum its a great place to get your questions answered. I doubt you will get any answers without listing the Make and model of rig you are asking for help with.

Those are auto-reset breakers. I got on my phone and watched it. Not real sure what you're hearing. Can you explain what you think is going on in words?

They use those breakers because they automatically reset after tripping, and those motors draw a large amount of current on start up.

The reason I think they are paralleled is that it cuts down on having to stock a lot of different sizes and reduces the possibility of someone installing one that's too large in a smaller circuit.

those breakers have a nut/bolt on the bottom side. unscrew the wingnut on your battery and remove the bar. you can then unbolt the cable from the breakers. you *could* touch that wire direct to the battery to see if it works then. I had those on my popup and they were beyond corroded with the green death on the underside.
