Predator Inverter Generator

Has anybody had any experience with these Predator systems from Harbor Freight? I'd like a generator to keep me charged on the few occasions we dry camp. These are 1/2 the price of the Hondas or Yamahas and I'm not really looking for the same quality, just looking for an inexpensive way to have an inverter generator.

No history in it, but it appears to be quite a bit louder than a Honda or Yamaha so guess it depends on where you plan to run it.

No experience with that generator but looking at reviews on YouTube and they were not promising. Just purchased a Champion 2000 watt generator from Camping World that gets great reviews and is on sale right now for 479.00.

Have a look at the 2000 watt Champion inverter genny for about the same price. Much quieter and very reliable.

Don't waste your money on that. 64db is WAY louder than other similar brands. They shouldn't even call it an inverter generator, with a db level that high.

64db is almost as loud as regular open-frame contractor generators that often have a 68db rating.

As was said, the Champion 2000w is only a little more expensive and much quieter.
Plus you can parallel another one, which you can't do with the Predator.

Thanks to all for the feedback. After researching the Predator systems on line, I do believe I will look at another choice.
