Progressive Dynamics internet purchases

FYI. I just read this on the Progressive Dynamics web site. It causes some concern about my recent purchase from Amazon.
=============================
FAQs About Power Converters/Chargers

1. Are you purchasing a Progressive Dynamics product on the internet?

Before you buy, ask the seller about their warranty procedures. Does the retailer provide a "working" customer service or service department phone number? Does the Progressive Dynamics product that you are buying have a valid serial number? Some online retailers are selling Progressive Dynamics' products without a valid serial number...DON'T BUY THEM! We must have a valid serial number for all warranty service work. A valid serial number allows your warranty service topics to be handled smoothly and with ease. It's a valid concern with pretty much any internet purchase. Lots of copycats out there for every product.

In most cases though, if you're buying from a licensed dealer, you should be getting an original. It's the "1/2 the price of original" kind of places you need to watch out for.

If the price seems pretty low, look closer.
When I was shopping for mine I found some really low priced units but stayed away from them. Piece of mind is worth the extra cost.

Don't believe Progressive Dynamics is the same company as Progressive Industries. Dynamics sells converters and Industries sell EMS/Surge units. Still, you would want to buy from an authorized dealer as stated.

Oops! Sorry. My mistake. But I do recommend Progressive INDUSTRIES products and TechnoRV.com as a retailer.
