Propane Monitor Beeps Low with Full Batteries

This is the 2nd time this has happened, but last weekend, we stopped at Six Flags for a few rides and renew our passes for next year. It was a warm day with clouds, but not hot, and we wanted to keep the dog in the camper, where she is comfortable. So, I opened the windows, opened the roof vents, and turned our fantastic fans on medium. As soon as I did that, the propane detector goes off low battery. I look at the battery monitor, and it is showing 3/4 LEDs. I didn't measure the voltage at the detector, but out of not wanting the thing beeping for the dog and people walking by, I decided to cut the wire for now. Now, I am debating if I want to try and just throw a new detector in, or start troubleshooting wires and see what is making it sense low voltage. Any thoughts?

I'd check the voltage on the wires at the unit then replace it if the voltage looks good. It's got to be one of the two things. If the voltage is low, there has to be something else causing it besides running those fans. I've run mine for days without taxing the batteries too badly.

I would measure battery voltage when all those items are running. The panel lights are historically inaccurate. Gassy pets can also set off alarm.

lp alarm or low battery

I had a similar issue the spring after we bought our TT. New to camping so didn't know what it was. A friend stopped by and pulled and reinserted one of the fuses and it hasn't done it since. The fuse must have been for the detector all I know is it fixed the problem. good lluck
